On Sunday, in the T20 match against Eastern Suburbs, he held his 400th catch in First Grade (162 of them for Penrith).
Damien Mortimer has passed Liam Robertson (5386 runs) to become the fifth-highest First Grade run-scorer in the club’s history. And he continues to climb the list of all-time First Grade run-scorers: on Saturday, he passed former NSW batsmen Graeme Rummans (6753), Frank Iredale (6769), Ron Briggs (6782) and Neil Marks (6783) and is now placed 130th.
