Nick Larkin’s decisive 70 in the midweek T20 match against Bankstown was his 50th innings of 50 or more in First Grade (19 of them centuries).

Another week, another bunch of milestones for Devlin Malone.  On Saturday, Gordon’s Tym Crawford became his 400th Premier Cricket wicket in all grades.  Then three balls later, Quincy Titterton gave him his 250th wicket in First Grade for Sydney University, making him only the seventh bowler to achieve that milestone for the club.  During the week, he also played his second match for the NSW Second XI, improving his best bowling figures at that level by taking 2-54 against Tasmania.

Ryan McElduff took his 100th wicket for the club in all grades when he dismissed Bankstown’s English professional George Balderson in the T20 match on Thursday.

Don Butchart made his First grade debut in the midweek T20 match against Bankstown, collecting his first wicket when he dismissed Mansukh Singh.

Kieran Tate continues to climb the club’s list of all-time wicket-takers.  During the midweek T20 match against Bankstown, he passed Steve Glenday (291) to join Darby Quoyle (292) as the club’s equal 25th highest wicket taker.  And when he dismissed Gordon’s Matthew Wright on Saturday, he claimed his 50th wicket in First Grade.

Hugo Ikeda, with 4-54 against Gordon on Saturday, recorded his best bowling figures in Second Grade.

Ash Cowan’s 55 in Fourth Grade against Gordon on Saturday was his 28th score above fifty for the club (including two centuries).

In Fifths, Hugo Fraval followed career-best bowling figures on day one with his highest score for the club (19) on the second – which may not seem all that many, but as University recovered from 4 for 3 to chase down Gordon’s score, it was far from insignificant.  Rajprasanyth Varatharajah contributed his highest score in Fifths (30) to the same chase.

James Chan has passed 500 runs for the club in all grades.

In the Metropolitan Cup match with Randwick-Petersham, Ben Crawford notched his second hundred for the club (112 not out) in just his fourth match, lifting his batting average to 136.

Avijay Maharaj extended his highest score for the club to 83 in the Metropolitan Cup match with Randwick-Petersham.

The partnership of 167 for the sixth wicket between Ben Crawford and Avijay Maharaj in the Metropolitan Cup match against Randwick-Petersham was a club record for the grade.

Will Hardy and Jack Garland each took his first wicket for the club in the Metropolitan Cup match with Randwick-Petersham.

Pranav Kalia hit his first century for the club, a dominant 137, in the Metropolitan Cup match against Blacktown on Sunday.

Ben Wright-Smith (68) hit his first half-century for the club in the Metropolitan Cup match against Blacktown on Sunday.

The partnership of 188 between Pranav Kalia and Ben Wright-Smith in the Metropolitan Cup match against Blacktown was a club record for the fourth wicket in this grade.
