After a competitive weekend of cricket against Western Suburbs, Sydney University provided a strong showing across all grades winning 4 out of the 5 matches. Our Metro Cup team was superb against Randwick Petersham, claiming their first win of the season.
On Sunday, our Poidevan-Gray side also claimed its first victory of the year with a nail-biting win against Northern Districts. After a strong bowling performance, the young Students were required to chase 170 with birthday boy Jack Lawson remaining composed to hit the winning runs with 1 wicket in hand.
