Throughout the BBL this year I am running a charity campaign called Batting for Change. We invite friends and supporters to pledge a small amount of money for every Thunder six hit this season to the LBW (Learning for a Better World) Trust, a Sydney-based charity that support education in the developing cricket-playing world. All funds raised go towards the construction of a year 11 and 12 campus at the Heartland School in Kathmandu, Nepal, which educates many young people of economic disadvantage.

So we are up to $750 pledged for EVERY Thunder six! We are aiming to get to $1000 per six which will raise about $30,000 across the tournament, enough to build three new classrooms.
