Third Grade, with a hard-fought win over St George, has reached the semi-finals for the 25th time since finals cricket was introduced in 1952-53.
Josh Toyer took his 150th wicket in Third Grade when he bowled St George’s Blake Kenworthy on Sunday.
Matt Powys, with 53 against St George on Saturday, hit his 20th score above fifty for the club (4 centuries, 16 fifties).
Thomas Lynch, with 3-54 against Manly in Fifth Grade, returned his best bowling figures for the club.
Zander Robertson’s 52 against Manly in Fifth Grade was his fifth innings above fifty for the club (one of them a century).
Ali Bajwa, with 4-18 against Randwick-Petersham, claimed his best bowling figures in Metropolitan Cup.
Evander Herbert’s 4-22 against Warringah included his 50th wicket in Metropolitan Cup. He has now taken 53 Metropolitan Cup wickets at an average of just 7.81.
During his innings of 22 against Warringah in Metropolitan Cup, Murray Miles passed 1000 runs for the club in all grades.
