Sydney University’s extraordinary last-ball victory in Sunday’s match against Blacktown gave the club its seventh win in the Sydney Thunder Conference of the Kingsgrove Sports T20 competition.  The club will play in the Grand Final against Sydney next Sunday.

Nick Larkin passed 1000 runs in T20 cricket during the match between the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades on Saturday night.  He now has 1006, all in the Big Bash and all for the Stars apart from the 15 he scored in his one innings for the Sydney Sixers in 2015-16. 

During Saturday's match against St George, Damien Mortimer passed 8500 runs in Premier Cricket (for all clubs in all grades).

When Dylan Hunter bowled Blacktown’s Gaurav Dogra on Sunday, he claimed his 50th First Grade wicket.

Ryan McElduff’s match-winning 52 not out against Blacktown on Sunday was his 14th First Grade half century.  During his innings, he passed 3500 runs in all grades.

Don Butchart’s 103 not out against St George in Seconds on Saturday was his first century for the club.

Lewis McMahon’s two wickets against St George in Seconds on Saturday moved him up two places on the list of all-time wicket-takers for the club: he is now equal 36th, with former NSW opening bowler Dave Hanlin, on 258.

Clancy Barrett, with 57 against St George on Saturday, hit his first half-century in Third Grade.

Oliver Zannino’s 61 against St George on Saturday was his fourth half-century for the club.

Andrew Wilkinson’s 50 against St George on Saturday was his ninth half-century for the club, and second in Fourth Grade.

There were Fifth Grade debuts for Mehrub Chowdhury and Ryan Drake (who, with 3-37, took his first wickets).

Avijay Maharaj, with 54 not out in Metropolitan Cup against St George on Sunday, hit his third half-century for the club.

In Green Shield, Lachlan Russell’s 5-30 against North Sydney was his first five-wicket haul for the club.

Mehrub Chowdhury, with 4-32 against Campbelltown-Camden in Green Shield, returned his best bowling figures for the club.

Jack Bray’s 101 against Campbelltown-Camden in Green Shield was his first century for the club.
