Sydney University’s extraordinary last-ball victory in Sunday’s match against Blacktown gave the club its seventh win in the Sydney Thunder Conference of the Kingsgrove Sports T20 competition. The club will play in the Grand Final against Sydney next Sunday.
Nick Larkin passed 1000 runs in T20 cricket during the match between the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades on Saturday night. He now has 1006, all in the Big Bash and all for the Stars apart from the 15 he scored in his one innings for the Sydney Sixers in 2015-16.
