Tim Cummins played his 350th Premier Cricket match in all grades (154 for Sydney University and 196 for Penrith).

Devlin Malone passed Peter Armitage (who took 321 wickets between 1973 and 1986) to become the 20th highest wicket-taker in the club’s history.

Jack Hill’s 73 against Bankstown was his 21st score above fifty in Second Grade (including three centuries).  His innings took him to 500 runs for the season, the first time he has scored 500 runs in a Second Grade season.  During his innings, he passed Will Hay (6525 runs between 2005 and 2017) to become the ninth-highest run-scorer in the club’s history.

Prakhar Sharma, with 5-62 against Bankstown, collected his first five-wicket haul in Third Grade (and his fourth for the club).

Dom Goddard’s 74 against Bankstown was his highest score, and second half-century, in Third Grade.

Oliver Jennings, with 65 against Bankstown in Fourth Grade, hit his second half-century for the club.

Arnav Yadav, with 49 against Bankstown, hit his highest score in Fourth Grade.

Metropolitan Cup Blue now leads the competition table, having beaten the previously undefeated Sutherland team outright.

Shuv Banerjee, with 3-44 against Bankstown, returned his best bowling figures in Fifth Grade.

Harrison Hartnell, with 4-27 against Penrith in Metropolitan Cup, returned his best bowling figures for the club.

Will Southon, with 5-11 against Penrith in Metropolitan Cup, returned his first five wicket haul for the club.

And one to file under “Weird Things that happen in Metro Cup”: in the match against Penrith, Penrith’s batsmen faced 407 balls while scoring 92 runs and losing twelve wickets, whereas Ash Cowan faced 98 balls and scored 95 runs, losing his wicket just the once.  If we assume that efficiency is the product of run rate multiplied by strike rate, then Ash Cowan is, on this evidence, approximately 13 times more efficient at scoring runs than the Penrith Metropolitan Cup team.

Suman Khatiwada, with 41 against Bankstown in Women’s Firsts, hit her highest score for the club.

Ellie Threlkeld made her debut for the club in the Women’s Firsts match against Bankstown.  Ellie plays in England for Lancashire, North West Thunder and Manchester Originals.
